CHRISTI YOUNG
Fall has always been my favorite season. As a child, I anxiously waited for the class lists to be posted in the school windows and then loved going and picking out school supplies. There was always just something about the smell of the new school year that I loved. Growing up, I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, complete with a bright, colorful, perfect classroom.

I grew up in Montana and studied Biology and Elementary Education at Montana State University. My Montana roots run deep; however, when my husband graduated from MSU with a standing job offer at Boeing, we set off to see what we could find in the big city! At that time, we had our first daughter and another on the way, and there was nothing I wanted more than to stay home and
shepherd my babies. I thought this would be my life’s work, but it’s funny how God has other plans! Along the way, our children attended Lake Stevens Little School, where we met Paulette and learned of The Academy of Snohomish. It was the absolute perfect fit for my kids, and I feel so thankful that it was a perfect fit for me as well.

It is so rewarding to be able to help this great group of kids navigate through their education while also helping them strengthen their relationships with Jesus.
